Abstract
Introduction: Exercise affects the physical and mental health of the community, and the municipality is one of the public health caretakers in the country, which has taken steps to build sports facilities in different parts of the city. If buildings do not make life rich and human experience and knowledge, their structures do not create the space of interest for human beings, they will abandon them. In order for the human-made environment to be an endless source for learning and an incentive to feel, the structures must be instrumental in constructive and encouraging insights (Naybi et al, 2007).
Methodology: The present research is applied in terms of purpose and is a descriptive-survey research. The statistical population of the study was Tehran athletes and the sample of the customers of sport complexes in the five urban areas of the regions were 1.5, 6.8, and 20. According to the uncertain size of the research community, 60 samples of each cluster were collected in a total of 250 samples. A researcher-made questionnaire measuring instrument has been applied taking into account 10 factors of building and architecture of sports facilities. After reviewing the content validity of the questionnaire, the reliability of the questionnaire was 0.76.
Results: Using exploratory factor analysis, the main components are extracted and the elements of each construct are selected and then using the P-algorithm. L S was presented to provide structural equation modeling. Regarding the final output of the software and its fitting indexes, it was found that the proposed model is consistent with the data obtained from the research, while the quality of architecture with the path coefficient (0.27) is the highest and the level- And interior space with path coefficient (0.14) had the least effect on the tendency toward sports activity among respondents to sports activities.
Discussion: In general, according to the results of the research, there are positive and significant results between different dimensions of the architecture of the sports spaces and the tendency of the citizens to sport activities, therefore, the relevant authorities can, in view of these dimensions and their development, expand the conditions for more citizens to move to these places.
