The effect of morning exercise on the educational advancement of girl students at middle school

Abstract
Introduction: Exercise in the morning can play an important role as one of the organized activities without the need for advanced facilities, sports facilities, and the allocation of a long time at a great cost to the goals of physical education. Especially since it does not take much time in terms of time and can be included in the daily school curriculum as a continuous activity. The aim of this present study is to investigate the effect of morning exercise on the educational advancement of girl students at middle school.
Methodology: The statistical society of this research includes 3050 students of girl elementary schools of Nazarabad city through academic year of 96-97. By using Morgan sample volume determination table, 360 students were selected samples were randomly in to two groups: 177 for control and 183 for experimental group at first, a pre-test was taken from Persian, science, math and Arabic books. Then, for 7 week five days and 15 minutes each day, before entering the classes, students exercised. After this period, both groups received post-test from the mentioned courses. Data were analyzed by Mann-Whitney U test and analyzed by SPSS software.
Results: Results showed that morning exercise increases the average grades of experimental group compared to control group.
Discussion: In general, the findings of this study showed the positive effect of morning exercise on the educational advancement of first grade high school female students in Nazarabad city. Therefore, it can be concluded that spending more time on sport has not only had no significant effect on academic performance, but In most cases, students have also improved their educational performance.
