Abstract
Introduction: The purpose of this research is to explain the effect of absorption capacity and knowledge management on innovative performance in experts of sport and youth departments of Kermanshah province.
Methodology: The research method is descriptive-survey and in terms of applied purpose. The statistical population consisted of all experts of sport and youth departments of Kermanshah province (175). 170 subjects were selected through random-ranking random sampling. For data collection we used to three questionnaires of Absorption Capacity, Zahra and George (2002), knowledge management Lawson (2003), and Innovation Performance HuanggeVali (2002). K-S, Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis were used to analyze the data.
Results: The results of this study showed that there is a significant relationship between the absorption capacity (r = 0.22, p ≤ 0.05) and knowledge management (r = 0.43), p ≤ 0.05). The results also showed that knowledge management variables (t = 2.53, β = 0.17, p≤ 0.05) and absorption capacity (t = 5.93, β
= 0.41, p ≤ 0.05 The title of predictors of the innovative performance of the experts from the Sports and Youth Departments of Kermanshah province is recommended.
Discussion: It is recommended that the managers of these departments pay special attention to the variables of absorption capacity and knowledge management as they improve the innovative performance of these departments. So, if we want to increase innovation and innovative behavior in sports organizations, then we need to support the issues that can be boosted by innovation, in which the ability to absorb and manage knowledge is both important and important.
