Abstract
Introduction: Social responsibility is one of the most important elements of the organization's philosophy of existence. In such a way that the importance of observing it by organizations, the probability of an upgrade is the commitment of the organization. Therefore, communication is the most important factor in increasing the commitment and accountability of the organization which will strengthen the organization.
Methodology: The aim of present study is the impact of communications on work commitment and accountability of staff in the department of sports and youth of West Azerbaijan province. The present research in terms of purpose is practical and in terms of method is descriptive-correlation which has been done a survey. Because the collecting data is done through community sampling, field research, and the analysis of community responses to the questionnaire questions, its type of surveying or tracking. The statistical population of this study consists of all employees of the department of sports and youth of West Azerbaijan province. According to the General Directorate of Statistics and Information of the year 2017, there are 89 people in total. Given the limited number of studied population, through the census method (total number), the whole statistical population was selected as a statistical sample. The tool used in this research to collect information was: Organizational Communication Questionnaire (Robbins, 1998), Work Commitment (Meyer and Allen, 1990) and Accountability Questionnaire (Harrison Gaph, 1951). After collecting the questionnaires, all data were extracted and analyzed by using statistical methods. Multiple Variance analysis was used to analyze the data in SPSS V20 software which was considered as significant level (0.05).
Results: The findings of this study showed that organizational communication has a significant effect on work commitment and accountability of staff in the department of sports and youth of West Azerbaijan province.
Discussion: Therefore, organizational communication is one of the most important factors within the organization that creates work commitment and accountability of staff.
