Investigating the Dimensions of Competitive Advantage on Export Performance of Sport Shoes

Abstract
Introduction: Investigating the competitive advantages and the level of competitiveness of the products, firms and the industries existed in each country is a fundamental step in understanding the existing situation and the outlook of the industry. It is also an introduction for a strategic and long term planning and sport industry is not an exception. So the present research deals with understanding the competitive power of Iran’s sport shoes exports.
Methodology: The statistical population of the study consisted of 150 exporter of sports shoes abroad, all of whom were considered as a statistical sample (N= 150). In order to collect data, 2 standard questionnaires were. In order to confirm the face and content validity, the questionnaire was provided to seven sports professors and after those necessary corrections has been made; also the Cronbach's alpha test was used to determine the reliability of the questionnaire.
Results: The results of the study showed that there is a significant relationship between competitive advantage and its components with export performance of sport shoes exporters. Also, there is a significant priority between components of competitive advantage and export performance of sport shoes exporter.
Discussion: The results showed a positive and important role for unit labor costs in improving productivity. On the other hand, the increase in human resource productivity has a positive and significant effect on export severity. If prices are non-subsidized (actual), the producers will use their empty capacities and production will increase, which will lead to increased exports and improve the competitiveness of firms.
