The performance assessment of I.R.I Judo Federation based on the EFQM model

Introduction: The present study was conducted to evaluate the performance of Judo Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran based on the model of Excellence Excellence (EFQM).
Methodology: This research is a descriptive-survey based on the type of applied research in terms of data collection method, which was implemented in the form of a field. The statistical population of the present study consisted of experts, heads, staff, coaches, elite athletes, judges of the Judo Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran. For sampling, the researcher at the current federation and among all the people distributed the questionnaire (so sampling was done as a whole number). Finally, 52 questionnaires were returned to the questionnaire and used for statistical operation. The tools used include: Individual information questionnaire: age, marital status, educational level, service record, etc. A Standard Performance Evaluation Questionnaire based on the European Excellence Model (EFQM) (2013) was used to assess the performance of the Judiciary Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran based on the EFQM model. Validity of the research questionnaire by referring to university professors was confirmed by 5 supervised university professors. And its reliability was also measured by the Cronbach's alpha for the first 30-person group, which had good scores and reliability coefficients.
Results: The results of the research showed that all nine criteria of organizational excellence model are lower than average and have a significant difference with EFQM standard standards.
Discussion: Only among the nine components of the organizational excellence model; the leadership with a score of 50.36 was above average and the rest of the components were lower than the average.
