Active person was someone who takes part in physical activities in one of the parks in Isfahan city for at least one year which consists of three times a week and each time one hour and inactive doesn't do sport at all. This research was done with WHO questionnaire (consist of 14 questions for knowledge, 7 questions for attitude and 10 questions for performance). Descriptive Statistics and ANOVA were two used methods in this analysis.
Results: In this study, 52% of participants were men and rests of them were women. Average age was 72±2.32. All data were normal. In generally, the levels of knowledge, attitude and performance of participants were in a favor level and a significant difference was seen between two groups of actives and inactive.
Discussion: Active elders' attitude and performance may be because of the sense of membership in social societies and improvement of social relation and it has developed the quality of life. Considering the positive effects of exercise, it is suggested that in the developing program of health of society should take consideration about improvement of doing exercise specifically among elders.
