The Impact of Knowledge Management on Entrepreneurship in Sports Organizations

Abstract
Introduction: Today, knowledge is considered to be the most strategic source of the enterprise. Establishing an efficient and effective knowledge management system as a key competence of organizations in the new era, which can provide the sustainable competitive advantage. In this regard, understanding the point of sharing the special areas to enhance knowledge helps organizations that lead to high-quality strategic and entrepreneurial functions. As a result, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of knowledge management on entrepreneurship in sports organizations.
Methodology: This research is a descriptive-analytic type of correlation that was conducted field-based. The statistical population of this research includes all head executives, experts, and supervisors of sports organizations. The data collection tool was the Newman and Knight Knowledge Management Standard Questionnaire and Marguerite Hill Enterprise Entrepreneurship Questionnaire. Pearson correlation was used for Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Ultimately, structural equation modeling using software (Smart-PLS version 3) was used.
Results: The findings of this study showed that knowledge management components include knowledge recognition, knowledge acquisition, knowledge development, knowledge sharing, knowledge use and knowledge maintenance, and significant relationship with entrepreneurship. Knowledge management has a significant effect on entrepreneurship in sports organizations. This emphasizes the importance of knowledge management on entrepreneurship in sports organizations.
Discussion: The results of this research are in line with the researchers of Safari and Shourj (1393) and Mehedushi and Sadaty (2011). Therefore, it seems that the promotion of knowledge and its application to sports organizations can lead to entrepreneurial transformations in a manner that is highly volatile. It seems that the successful development and introduction of knowledge management components requires organizational resources and capabilities in order to create an entrepreneurial attitude in sports organizations and to benefit from it. Effective knowledge management and its positive impact on entrepreneurial behavior and innovation is essential for the existence of prerequisites in an organization
